Yes, diversity and performance are connected — but it works best when inclusion is part of the mix.
When people from different backgrounds, experiences, and ways of thinking come together, they tend to see problems from more angles. That often leads to more creative ideas, better decisions, and solutions that work for a wider range of people. Studies have even shown that diverse companies usually outperform less diverse ones in areas like innovation, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

Do more diverse teams do better work?
They can — especially when everyone’s voice is valued. Diverse teams are great at avoiding “groupthink” because people are bringing fresh perspectives to the table. This is especially helpful in projects that need creativity, problem-solving, or innovation. But, if the team isn’t managed well, diversity alone can slow things down or lead to misunderstandings.
