  1. Yes,there’s a relationship between diversity and performance,and that can be achieved through the following ways:
    (i) when the objectives of the project is clearly stated
    (ii) The objectives are broken down to achievable units
    (iii) People are shared into groups and given goals
    (iv) The deadline of achieving each goal is clearly stated
    (v) Monitoring team is created(in very huge project) to do follow ups on the teams
    (vi) Making room for opinions and complains from teams members in anonymity
    With the above-mentioned measures and more,diversity won’t stand as a barrier against performance

  2. Yes, diversity in a team aligns with my personal experience. I’ve seen how working in a diverse team leads to great results because everyone brings a unique skill and strength that supports outstanding performance.

    Diversity makes a team more proactive, creative, and open to better solutions, so yes, there’s a clear connection between diversity and performance, which leads to superior work.

    The challenges of working in a highly diverse team include differences in communication, a mix of cultural backgrounds, occasional delays in decision-making, low social cohesion at the outset, and variations in cognitive abilities. Although, when these challenges are properly managed, it leads to delivering an outstanding performance.

  3. Yes, diversity in teams aligns with my own experience. From what I’ve observed, teams made up of people with different backgrounds often work more effectively and produce solid results. Everyone brings a unique point of view, which makes problem-solving richer and more creative. In another sense, communication is one possible challenge that comes with a highly diverse team. Differences in language, culture, or expression can sometimes create misunderstandings, but with patience and openness, those barriers can be managed and even turned into strengths.

Yes it does align with my experience, diversity boosts creativity, innovations and better decisions but the challenges are there too like communication barriers can cause misunderstanding and inclusion hurdles where everyone wants to feel heard and valued so communication skills comes to play here.

  6. Diversity is important in selecting a team because over familiarity breeds contempt. From my experience, a team can actually make a good results when they’re diverse however,there will always be a storming stage that would be resolved by understanding and effective communication.
