  1. I believe a more diverse team will perform better than a homogeneous team because it brings together people from different backgrounds, ideologies and experiences.

The major challenge I feel we have when working with a diverse team is lack of proper communication and familiarity between members at initial, but on the long run we end up making a very strong team.

  2. Diverse teams work better than homogeneous ones because each team in their diversity add flavour and zeal to the work while homogenous ones are autonomous and friction can be felt easily.
In diversity each team member brings their A game because they are working in their area of strength to complete the weakness of other team members who are also working in their own area if strength too by this they compliment each other.

  3. Yes, i believe diverse teams should perform better, especially in complex projects that demand optimum professionalism.

  4. Yes, diverse team, often perform wonderful given out good result. Diversity brings mutual results among team or pair and avoiding too much familiarity among each other, there by increasing performance.
The challenge faced by too much diversity is low rate of communication and unable to know the team members well based on specialization

  6. Yes, there is a strong relationship between diversity and performance. Diverse teams often do better work because they bring different perspectives, ideas, and experiences, which naturally leads to more creativity and stronger problem-solving.
But diversity also comes with challenges. Highly varied teams may face communication differences, slower decision-making, and occasional misunderstandings as people adjust to different working styles.
In summary, when a diverse team is well managed and people feel respected, the benefits far outweigh the challenges and the team’s performance becomes noticeably stronger.

  7. Yes—diverse teams often deliver better results because they bring together different experiences, viewpoints, and problem-solving styles. Diversity helps organisations avoid groupthink and encourages innovative thinking. A practical Nigerian example is Guaranty Trust Bank (GTBank), which is well-known for building teams made up of people from different ethnic, cultural, and professional backgrounds. During the development of its digital banking platforms—such as GTWorld—the bank intentionally assembled teams that included young tech developers, experienced bankers, customer-service specialists, and staff from different regions of Nigeria. This mix allowed them to deeply understand customer behavior across the country and create a user-friendly, reliable platform that reflects the needs of Nigeria’s diverse population. The success of GTWorld and GTBank’s digital transformation shows how diversity can improve creativity, customer understanding, and overall organizational performance.

  8. Yes diversity really places in role in a teams outputs or outcome. Why is this try persons coming from different backgrounds, proximity will bring in different strength, views , ideas to achieving a giving project per say.
Just like it is said variety is the spice of life but this has to be properly managed so strength don’t turn into weakness.
Team coming together should have the clear cut out view the reason for coming together and bringing their A game on board to achieving the aim and objective of their coming together.
They should have the message at the back of their mind that each individual in the team has their strength and that should be used for the benefit of the team.
