Acting ethically – (PM Course Discussion)

  1. As a team, communication and collaboration is very important. In this scenario, there was lack of communication and collaboration.

  2. Issues of this professional conduct included a lack of transparency in sharing project information and potential conflicts of interest that risked compromising stakeholder trust. To address these, the people involved applied skills such as ethical awareness to recognise the dilemmas, communication to raise and discuss concerns openly, and integrity to ensure decisions aligned with the stakeholder interests.

  3. The three individuals lacked communication and collaboration in the work. They needed this skill to arrange the forum to decide the best feedback. Karen and John later discussed on the issues together, reached out to colleagues for help. They were interested in the future of the firm.

  4. This scenario illustrates the tension between ambition and ethics. John and Karen prioritized integrity and transparency by questioning a suspiciously perfect report. Karen’s courage to speak up, despite her probation status, and John’s openness to feedback reflect ethical and adaptive leadership—doing what’s right, engaging others, and navigating complexity with accountability.

  5. Lack of communication and collaboration they were supposed to arrange a forum to decide the best feedback instead they work individually.skill enploy to integrate ethical consideration into decisions made was collaboration

  6. Lack of communication is the major problem here. Also, there is adaptability and flexibility issue because Williams couldn’t trust John enough to do work. This is my POV.

  7. William thought he did things the way the work in his locality, but it’d be better if he had worked by the book, thereby saving every the stress that would have arised especially if the report does not reflect the reality on ground, this begs the need to properly engage the right stakeholders in he planning/initiaion phase. or else you end up wasting time and limited financial resources

  8. They lack communication, collaboration and delegation of task. The skills used to integrate ethical considerations among these individuals are communication and good leadership qualities.

  9. Firstly they lacked communication, no team work. What brought the ethics decisions together a bit is communication and negotiation.
