  1. A fundamental attribute shared by all three experts is their unwavering focus on successfully delivering the project goal. This laser-sharp commitment guided every decision they made, particularly in overcoming challenges.
Their transparency, strategic problem-solving, and effective communication were instrumental in managing stakeholder expectations amidst obstacles, qualities that are truly worthy of emulation.

The 3PMs had a great knowledge of the project by weighing their options, knew how to relate with all stakeholders involved and utilizing the best approach in managing the situation which they successfully did. And so, in a different contest, they would not have acted differently.
Decision making by PMs can sometimes be tough and most especially when time, recourses and human efforts had been expended towards a given project.
The first PM perceived that the project was no longer in tune with the goal, probably because of higher priority project that resources need to be channeled, some other technical reasons why the project is no longer feasible and then had to terminate the project early.
The PMs had a clear-cut understanding of the project goals, and their aim was to either foresee the actualization irrespective of the challenges faced (technical, misunderstanding between stakeholders and language barrier), or terminate it at an early stage. The aim is to achieve a win-win situation for all stakeholders involved.
Their decisions were timely, and it helped them manage the current situation and kept further good relationships.

  3. Development good communication skill has proven to be the key in achieving any project goal. I learnt that to be a good project manager you’ve got to be solution minded and goal oriented

  4. Communication has proven beyond reasonable doubt to be the key to the actualisation of any project.
One thing that is worthy of note and resonates deeply within the 3 project manager is that they are goal oriented, purpose driven and solution minded. They proferred solutions to every problem encountered.

  5. Communication remains key. Transparency has edge on a project and going back to the goal of the project.

  6. Openness and transparency were at the core of their decision making and their eagerness towards the success of the project is clearly seen. I do not think there is a need to do anything differently, the decisions were carefully taken.

  7. Communication is a major part of Projects manager day to day activity. So in a situation of language barrier I think as a project manager one needs to plan how to communicate and maybe get connected with an interpreter if needed so that information can be passed clearly to the project team

  8. What was important to them was getting their jobs done despite the challenges. For the PM with terminating a project early, what helped her was not being egoistical, looking at the positive side, while taking everyone back to the common goal. The PM with language barrier tried to communicate effectively while dealing with clients from another country. At the end of the day they’ll always be solutions, what matters most is staying afloat and carrying everyone along, doing so with empathy. For me they all did what they at to do, and wouldn’t have acted differently in another context.

  9. In encountering difficult decisions, what seemed important for them was clear communication, empathy for others, taking lessons, highlighting goals, strengthening relationships, salvaging difficult situations in the best possible way and proferring solutions to tackle problems.
I don’t think they would have acted differently in a different context as they were exhibiting the necessary and fundamental skills needed to be an effective project manager.

  10. Language barrier might cause setback in communication for a PM , so for me proper communication method should be look at for when taking some jobs make sure communication is well plan for because is a compulsory tool in PM.
