  1. Clear and effective Communication to the team members can foster understanding, being truthful about the situation and coming together to bring a solution to the problem.

  2. The decision to terminate a project early, considering the investment of the project team can really be painful. When the project is not longer a priority. When the organization has other important project to spend their resources.
    Language problem: Interacting with other international country can affect the flow of the project negatively.

    Yes, they would act differently because they have different skills and method adopted to manage and make better decision during this times

  3. To handle difficult decisions, one must carefully consider the options, gather relevant information and just choose what is best for the project.

One thing I get hold of is that as a PM you must not be rigid in decision making you must be ready to take up any challenge that comes with the project, because not all project has the same nature. Nevertheless you must be ready to go out of your comfort zone even if you don’t feel like. To me they act differently for another project because they will have you go in line with the set down goal even if it’s for them to make the sacrifices

  6. I don’t think they would have acted differently because I believe it’s in their behaviour to act that way. They embody the role in their characters, and I admire that. They think of solutions to help the team and put off their egos.

Now that the project manager is in a dilemma, Decision making is quite hard, but as at that point in time, the most important thing to them is to complete the project according to the project goals and deliverables and meet stakeholders expectations
    It is also very possible for them to act in a very different way when handling another project because of the uniqueness of every porojects
    The projects might be similar but may have different approaches of solving these problems.

    Difficult decisions making is indeed a criteria that a successful PM must expect while undertaking a project.

I think one major factor in all the project managers mind was meeting the success criteria, and to do that you have to deal a lot of in between in the project starting from scope creeps to contingency issues, to language barriers and the decisions each one made, was the right decision to seeing that the customer was satisfied even the one project that was terminated, which was painful but was also the right choice.
