The three experts describe their experiences and difficult decisions they had to take during a project, where an option to terminate a project earlier comes up, not having enough water supply, which was also discouraging, but at the same time they had a positive mindset, creating room for dialogue and negotiations, brings out the solution to the problem.
However, finding oneself in a different context may affect your decisions, but as a project Manager you should always be positive, believe in your team, have good communication skills and always be ready to work with the Community.
Well, they wouldn’t, just like the lady said, everything was put onto consideration, and that would make a project come to an end(however putting it out there to the team as well why).
Communication and negotiation is all about creating a win-win situation for all stakeholders in a project. I think this project managers did wonderfully in this contexts and this goes to show how they would act in all other type of contexts.
The ability to drop their ego, gather relevant stakeholders and resources and the grit to push through obstacles are all wonderful project manager traits that this experts showed.
