    Two benefits:

    A general virtual assistance is some one who provide an administrative virtual service to it clients, they are engulf with broader tasks such as research, clients email management, calendar management, scheduling appointment, data entry, book keeping, task management etc they are known for their flexibility and multitasking, while on the other hand, specialized virtual assistance is a remote VA who is specialized on more specific niche such as Education, E-commerce, Health, Technology, Real Estate etc providing experts support to their clients base on the area they specialized in and they attract higher earning potentials than general virtual assistance.

    Virtual Assistance tools are those software or platforms that are used by virtual assistance to manage task, projects and communicate with their clients seamlessly in a remote workspace. this tools are into different categories such as:

    (b) Zoho ……used to organized contacts, leads and accounts for clients, zoho crm tool is also use to automate sales and marketing processes by a virtual assistance.

    (3) Cloud Storage and File Sharing Tools:
    (a) Goggle Drive: this tool is used by a virtual assistance to share, store, and to organize files and documents, spreadsheet and presentation with clients and team mates.

    In conclusion, both general and specialized virtual assistance are both employed by clients to administrative services and support to their organization or for personal purposes, and they both worked remotely, earns salary, uses technology, prioritize task and communicate with clients.

    PS: Hiring a general virtual assistant is ideal unless otherwise you need the skills and expertise of a specialized virtual assistant who have spent their time nurturing and developing their skill set. The main downside to a specialized virtual assistant is that they are somewhat expensive especially if the client has mostly general administrative work to be handled.

    Picture this: Let’s take a look in the world of medicine. A Doctor, a general practitioner is able to handle many ailments from patients such as common infections, fevers and colds and a few more cases but is limited to handling or participation in rare and special treatments such as major surgery procedures. A general doctor may not be in position to operate on a heart (Cardiology) or be a neural surgeon.     A specialized Virtual assistant is targeting a certain population of the clientele market therefore getting clients is quite simpler since the service thy are offering is selective.

    CHALLENGES
    The main down side i see when it comes to Specialized Virtual Assistant is the smaller Potential Client Pool because by narrowing your focus, you are intentionally limiting the overall number of potential clients you can serve.
