However, a general VA does not have a specific niche, they technically do a little of everything, like bookkeeping, email mgt, report arrangements, customer service, social media mgt, email mgt, etc. On the other hand, a specialized VA specializes or focuses on a specific niche.     Most of the beginers in the world of VA starts as a general VA. The beginer, as a green horn, tries his or her hand on almost all the tools and jobs available. In the process of time of growth and a few experiences, he or she begins to feel inclined to a particular area of interest, rather than being available for the general work. Such areas of interest could be real estate, healthcare e.t.c. This other area of interest, drawn out of the inner self or the general areas of work, is called the Niche.

    Benefits of ‘Niching down’
    1. It gives room for growth

    2. It makes the VA a professional in the chosen area

    One potential challenge of choosing a niche focus is that it ‘limits’ the VA to the area chosen area, thereby preventing VAs from being available for other areas of work.

    Clockify: This is a time management tool essential for project management, it is commonly used by VAs to keep track of time, which ensures that deadlines are met at the appropriate time.

    Slack: This is a communication & collaboration tool. This platform replaces lengthy email usage because it has an organized channels and direct messaging, which makes it ideal for team collaboration or communicating with clients.

    Primary Function is that it uses boards, lists and cards to manage a broad project which brings about a better organisation and time saving.
    It also integrates collaboration with team members and clients through a shared board. Trello is very essential for project management because itanages recurring tasks, content calenders and work flows. It also help to track deadlines and ensure that projects are meet in due time.

    Calendly (Scheduling)
    This tool automatically allows for clients to be able to book appointments based of Clients virtual assistance availability.
    It synchronise with zoom, outlook and google calend to make sure that there is no double booking of events.
    Scrutinise emails to reduce back and forth email sending and resending.
