A general virtual assistant are those VA who offers variou administrative assistance to their clients, they can do almost everything both for the business and individuals eg book keeping, management of email, arrangements of appointments.
While specialised VA are those that have an expertise in specific industries or business, they have already decided on the area of VA they want to focus on and they will be known for those expertise. Examples of specialised VA are Real Estate VA, they provide service on real estate, E- commerece, they support online stores with products listing and order processing.

The concept niching down is a process where a VA decides to be focused on a specialised area of virtual assistant Job or business to improve his or her skills untill they become expertise on that particular area.
Niching down has a lot of advantages
1. Skill boosting: it’s helps in sharpen and improving the skill of the VA quickly.
2. Reduce competition: A niche product or services reduces competitors, only few companies will compete with the the business.
One of the disadvantage of niching down for me is that the individuals meant just be stocked in one particular job for too long.

NICHE =Niching under Virtual assistant course is finding a portion of the market that a particular product is targeted. In my own view, its discovering an area of specialization and been an expert in that field.
The benefits of finding a niche includes but not limited to the following ,(1) It increases ones visibility in the internet and attracts more customers
(2) It improves customer relations as you’re going to personalize your communication, following up your clients diligently and helps to know your customer better.
HOWEVER, the challenge of choosing a niche is that ONE, in as much as their will be lesser competitions, but there are niches that are quite popular, and competition therein will be high and thus making it hard for you to stand out.

By enhancing workflow, the CRM is used to provide basic technology to integrate all kinds of communication channels a VA will need to make with his/her customers.
2. SPREADSHEET – The Spreedsheet I used by virtual assistants mainly to prepare reports or dashboards. It also enhances VA workflow as information needed are well organized and flowing from left to right making them easy to understand and reflect on
3. Project Management Tools – These tools are primarily function in the areas of time management, work planning and effective communication with clients and so on.
