Uji Saturday requires strong project management skills to ensure its success and sustainability. Communication is key when coordinating with volunteers, mobilizing resources, and engaging community members. Negotiation skills help in securing food donations, sourcing supplies at fair prices, and forming partnerships with organizations that can support the initiative. Time management is essential for organizing cooking schedules, serving food efficiently, and ensuring everything runs smoothly each Saturday. Besides, having knowledge of the regulatory environment, including food safety guidelines and community health policies, helps maintain hygiene and compliance. Ethics and standards are also crucial, as working with vulnerable children requires fairness, transparency, and accountability in resource allocation.
To strengthen these skills, various actions can be taken. Improving communication can involve training volunteers, using structured messaging platforms, and setting clear goals. Time management can be enhanced by creating workflows, assigning specific roles, and maintaining a checklist for each session.
