How a company understands and responds to this complexity influences the projects it chooses to undertake and how it handles them.

This week, we begin by examining frameworks that help us grasp this intricate world. These frameworks guide our actions, responses, and decision-making in the face of complexity.

Next, we delve deeply into various methods and practices for managing projects when faced with uncertainty, instability, and change. These methods include linear approaches and life cycles, often known as the waterfall method, as well as iterative or agile approaches. You will explore the pros and cons of these methods, as well as the ongoing debates about them.

By the end, you’ll grasp how to use and blend these methods effectively to achieve successful project outcomes.

We are in a VUCA world where technology has evolved and reshaping every activities in a well productive way with different project management tools, we are only going to be competitively ready, if we embrace the change i.e. social, political and environmental by following new trends and encourage best practices, Organization now needs to build and embrace a forward thinking company culture to stay competitive

    world is very critical.
    Technology is improving and changing everyday. It is paramount that one learn and improve on a daily basis in that line.
    Competitors are always around meaning one must be on ones toe. Always moving ahead or else ones organization will be pushed aside.
    Global trade in the face of foreign exchange when Naira is unstable is a major crisis for project managers. Bearing in mind that Budget must be met.
    International trade laws. Some of these are unfavorable for the progress and profit making of organizations.
    Government Policies are affecting project managements. Some policies are made that opposes the progress and profit making of the organization.
    In the last administration of the head of the CBN, some decisions were made that really had a negative impact on the organization I work in. It really cut back huge amount of money which would have been accrued to the company as part of her profit.
    It is a complex world that as a Project Manager one must respond to in a very effective and efficient way to make a good and profitable headway.

In that, the dynamics of communicating with customers/consumers evolve based on the social or political issues being addressed at that point in time, as well as how the competition is reacting to these changes.

  8. There are innovations that border with technologies in my field and there’s the need to constantly improve so as to stay competitive. The competitors will not wait for you to level up, hence there’s the need to constantly push your boundaries. Our social and political sphere is volatile and there is the need to constantly make drastic but informed changes.

In my organisation, i was recently challenged with my colleagues’ limited knowledge of the use a computer. i struggled with transitioning from crude paper work to automated documentation and IT efficiency. With effective communication, we were able to learn together and advance

As a PM with an IT background in software testing, and Learning to work independently Lottery company, i believe we can be on the center if you seek out other options to help us makes more sales and gain attraction in the market space, from User-friendly agent app, to commissions and Aggressive PR which i believe will increase sales.
