How a company understands and responds to this complexity influences the projects it chooses to undertake and how it handles them.
This week, we begin by examining frameworks that help us grasp this intricate world. These frameworks guide our actions, responses, and decision-making in the face of complexity.
Next, we delve deeply into various methods and practices for managing projects when faced with uncertainty, instability, and change. These methods include linear approaches and life cycles, often known as the waterfall method, as well as iterative or agile approaches. You will explore the pros and cons of these methods, as well as the ongoing debates about them.

As regards competition, given that the poultry farming sector (in my case) is floaded this day, there is stiff competition. In the face of this, various farmers device different methods of attain their objectives. It now becomes imperative to put in place better marketing strategies in order to succeed.
Social and political changes are very important factors that affect the business world. These changes push dynamic and flexible Project managers to adapt their work strategies to these changes inorder to remain relevant in the ever changing economy. The environmental crisis recorded also trigger this same adaptation in order to deliver appropriately and record a fast turnover and success.
The major aspect is the level of advancement in the technological aspect to the point of remote jobs. While this is one of the greatest innovations ever, it does pose its own inherent threat of being hard to cordinate projects since direct interactions are required for effective communication. Although so many means and methods have been invented over the years to curb this issue.
The globe is gradually advancing and developing with technical innovations. Digital advancement is truly needed for every organisation but never neglecting the importance of human power. Project manager must note that as good as the digital innovations are so also human. Well in my own case, I feel the impact of social and political change more because it capable of changing a nation’s economy which has been bad over the years in my country, then there was a political change it became worst. It made it hard for sponsors to give sufficient funds because everyone is trying to conserve the little they have. It also made it hard to get quality materials because there is high increase of counterfeit, most of the time 3 out of 10 materials are the only quality ones sometimes it’s less.
Changes occur rapidly that we think, and to remain fixed in a changing world is be extinguished. As a project manager and a field engineer, the changes in technology calls for upgrade in knowledge and continuous improvement in skills to be able to adapt to the changing world.
As a site officer in a logistic company, technology has created a new opportunities and challenges for logistics forcing to adapt and innovate in order to remain competitive. social and political change also affect the organization’s ability to operate as it may need to comply with new regulations.
A good example of how political change affect my organization is when a government put a restriction on bike in the state which affect the organization thereby making the rider to go on foot delivery which makes them to reduce the volume of shipment they deliver daily
