In dealing with difficult situations in project management, the project manager needs to be proactive and be united with the team members and be ready to compromise.
What was important for them in taking the decision they took is that, they are very concerned about the end result and success of the project, the first speaker highlighted that, it was painful for her to bring the project to a close early due to the fact that they might not be able to execute the project on the long run, and what I observed there is a project manager trying to save the value of the company, and other hand the second speaker had a an issue with a venue whereby they had to searched for a possible means to tackle it, the client was invited in a meeting and a compromised was reached, in that the client had to pay for extra fees for an alternative water supply, so what I observed here is a level of understanding between the project manager and the client, and this actually helped the event to still hold, for the third speaker having issues with communication, due to the fact that he works where his language is not spoken, and this could actually be solved if a means of getting an interpreter can be achieved.
They would actually act differently in different way, why because, the issues are different, and different approach must be given, yet all of them would ensure things don’t fall apart for the sake of the organization moral and values.
