    As an Administrative and customer service virtual assistant. These skills are essential in my dailly life and career and I would like to improve my communication, negotiation and time management skills.

    1. In some form or the other, every role revolves a little around project management whether it is organizing tasks and teams, or just coordinating closely with others. Key skills include planning, communication, problem-solving and time management to make sure that everything runs smoothly. Finally, identifying and improving all of these skills can only enhance productivity and see projects succeed.

  2. A a communication marketing officer i need to emphyses on is time management due to multiple task that are needed to be done in less time. This require also to develop excellent communication to get clear understanding of the process of tasks in other to collaborate very well with the team.
    Continuing professional development is also necessary to stay update on specifics facts which touch organisations.

I am an event manager, and all these skills has brought me this far, I wasn’t so good at communication until I entered this industry and it has helped me a lot. I could talk to anyone anywhere! The major skill I want to horn now is my negotiation skill.

    1. Communication – Clear, effective communication is key when engaging with customers, resolving issues, and upselling banking products.
    2. Time Management – Handling multiple customer interactions while meeting performance targets requires strong time management skills.
    3. Ethics & Adherence to Standards – Banking is highly regulated, so compliance with ethical and industry standards is non-negotiable.
    Areas for Improvement & Growth Steps
    Negotiation – In sales and customer service, the ability to negotiate better solutions for both the bank and the customer is valuable. I can improve by taking negotiation courses or practicing techniques in real interactions.
    Understanding the Regulatory Environment – While I follow compliance guidelines, a deeper understanding of banking regulations will help me provide better guidance to customers. I plan to read up on key banking policies and possibly take a finance-related course.
    Continual Professional Development – To grow in my career, I need to invest in ongoing learning. This could involve leadership training, customer relationship management (CRM) tools, or certifications in financial services.

    As an Cash Entry Accountant, i am not taking on any projects but the afore mentioned skills has practically played out in my area of job description having to coordinate a team, reporting and trying to meet up given deadlines.
    Here’s how I’d break down those six areas in relation to my role:
    1. Communication
    Importance: As a clerk, communication is essential in terms of clarifying data as required , providing the necessary demands or reports to the head and relaying information to the team.
    2. Time Management
    Importance: This is one of the essential skills in my job demands: trying to effectively make use of my time due to having lots on my table(work loads).
    Skill Gap: I tend to give priority to work for effective result.
    3. Knowledge of the Regulatory Environment
    Importance: Due to my job description, i try to have a balance of the job in terms of understanding the regulatory environment. .
    Solution: Take course on said understanding of Regulatory Environment pertaining to my job role.
    4. Continuing Professional Development
    Importance: There is room for improvement on upskilling myself as to ensure my competence in the role.
    Solution: Enrolling myself in online courses pertaining to my job and also other areas i feel is important to my growth.
