I am Habiblahi Oladipupo Idris, currently a 4th year medical student, from the skills listed above, communication itself to me has to be the most useful, whereby effective communication is necessary between the physicians and patients presenting to clinic.
This enables the physician to diagnose the illness efficiently.
Another is the time management, as a student coupled with the bulky curriculum and extracurriculars, effective time management skills proves to be helpful in getting tasks done, meeting up with classes and as well having personal time too.
In my role, strong communication, efficient time management, and continual professional development are crucial, and I need to boost my negotiation skills and regulatory knowledge through targeted training and mentorship.
All the six skills are important in every profession, as a nurse l have good communication with my patients and also uphold my ethics and maintaining my professional standard. However, I have to improve more on negotiations and understanding regulatory environment. As for continuing education I have been going for workshops and seminars as part of my continuous learning to give my patients the best of care. Time management is crucial in management them as their are many procedures to carry out for each of them.
