In the engineering world, new technology brought about new, easier and effect ways of completing projects on time with less hands on or hard work, plus it has enhances communication too.
Social and political changes affect through change in laws and policies, social reactions to changes by ongoing project.
Competitions is now on the rise due to new technologies, it’s availability and use of it.
Environmental issues, global issues do affect companies and project as it disrupts vendor of material and tools which in turn affect project timeline and deadline.
In general, all this issues can affect a project manager engaged on a project but then should readily be able to anticipate, accept and work round/with these changes.

Social and environmental changes have affected the event sector in a lot of negative ways, most problems caused by economic changes. Companies and individuals can no longer afford events of their dreams which limits creativity in the part of event project managers.

Global crisis and political instability affect my organization and my project. It makes completion of old and new projects almost impossible to meet up with the deadline.

As a Journalist, political disturbance has to be the height of these for the journalism profession. Most media houses filter their stories especially political ones that involve big wigs before publishing. This is because press freedom is not guaranteed in the country where I live and work.

Technology: Libraries are influenced by technological advancements in terms of digitization, online resources, and information management systems.We adapted to evolving technologies to offer digital services, enhance accessibility, and manage electronic collections efficiently.
Competition: With the rise of digital content platforms and online resources, our library faced competition for information dissemination. To remain relevant, we need to focus on specialized collections, unique services, and community engagement to distinguish our services.
Social and Political Changes: We were affected by societal shifts and political changes as they play a crucial role in providing diverse perspectives and information. There was need to be responsive to societal needs, promoting inclusivity, diversity, and addressing issues related to censorship and intellectual freedom.
Environmental Problems: Our Library like other organizations, are increasingly considering environmental sustainability. This involves initiatives such as reducing paper consumption, energy-efficient operations, and promoting eco-friendly practices in our community outreach.
In summary, libraries must navigate these global issues by embracing technology, differentiating themselves in a competitive landscape, staying socially and politically aware, and contributing to environmental sustainability in their operations.
Covid 19 was a global issue that impacted my area of interest to a large extent. It caused for a major pause in businesses across Africa. Also government policies can be a determining factor to the influx of tourist in and out of a country.
COVID-19 Was the global pandemic that really affected almost every sector of working. For me I work in a non-profit organization which works to promote healthy living through evidence based social behavior change communication, In COVID-19 we were surely affected ranging from complexity of new schedules of remote working (New approach) to responsible relevant community interventions to fight against the pandemic.
