Currently, my industry is being affected by trends in a good way and a bad way. This can be categorized as social change.
As an Assistant Technical Manager in an Agricultural company, the global business environment is constantly changing to be in the system, you must move with the pace or faced out of the race. Technology has revolutionized the way organization function as there are less paper work to be done. Samples take a lesser period of time now for the results to be processed compare to the old ways of doing it. Furthermore, social and political changes such as shifting demographics and changing government policies require organizations to be responsive and adaptable. We must prioritize diversity in other to navigate new regulatory environment and develop new strategies to address social and political uncertainties. This in a way helps organizations to be on their toes every day in other to cope with the changes.
The effects of global issues like technology, rivalry, social and political change, and environmental crisis on an average Nigerian can be profound. For example, technology can provide opportunities for education and economic growth, but it can also widen the gap between the wealthy and the poor if access is unequal. Rivalry between nations can impact economy and security which will have its effect on the citizens, while social and political change can influence governance and individual rights. Additionally, environmental crises like climate change can exacerbate existing challenges such as food insecurity and displacement. Overall, these global issues can shape various aspects of life for Nigerians, impacting their opportunities, well-being, and future prospects.
I am a confidential secretary, the advent of technology has rendered some of our colleagues redundant, as most of our bosses are becoming computer literate and technology pro. This has lead to less or no need for some roles performed by secretaries. In a normal circumstance, secretaries are suppose to be trained and retrained on the latest technological advancement in order to keep up with the trends, but due to some politicians that play out in the society, these training are never carried out. Same on politics, secretaries are prevent from attending a directorate cadre, this is a demotivating and can as well be depressing in most cases.

1. Technology: New tech like digital screens and digital marketing can improve our brand and reach more people. But we must keep up with these changes or risk falling behind.
2. Competition: More brands are pushing for the market share, so we need to take on activities in engaging customers , showroom events and excellent services to keep our customers.
3. Social and Political Change: Changes in laws or public opinions can affect how we do branding and what content we can show. We must stay updated and communicate through social media and be adaptable.
4. Environmental Crisis: People care more about eco-friendly practices now. Using sustainable materials and reducing waste can improve our reputation and attract eco-conscious clients.
I work in an electromechanical company as an electrical project engineer. We build and install electrical panels, gear switch and other electrical installations. We are always not caught unaware by new technology as our vendor always make it a point of duty to come up with seminars whenever they are coming up with new product. However, there are contracts and project that were terminated due to the sudden price surge.

I use smart tools and tricks like AI to understand data faster and make better decisions. These advancements also mean I can look at data in real-time and use visuals like charts to make it easier to understand.
2. Competition and Smart Moves: In my job, understanding our competition is crucial. we use data to figure out what our rivals are up to and what our customers want. This helps us plan our next moves and stay ahead in the game. We also keep an eye on rules and laws that might affect how we use data or make business choices.
3. Environment and Social Changes: Nowadays, caring for the environment is a big deal. We make sure our projects are eco-friendly and think about how our work impacts the world. Also, we pay attention to how society is changing, like new beliefs or laws. These changes can affect our work, so we stay ready to adjust our plans and use data wisely.
