Technology has played a very vital role in our society. Through the help of technology, there are software applications that are used to make work easier, faster and very accurate. But these applications still need experts to operate them. Aside getting professionals, there are both political, environmental and socio-economic issues that can cause complexities in any organization.
In some offices, there have been a lot of political and socio-economic factors affecting productivity and even the well-being of staff members. In such situations, a project will not be executed properly because of the complexities surrounding its execution. In such situations, its now the duty of the project manager to meet with his team to reflect on how a project can be executed, despite the complexities surrounding it.

Competition can help bring about more efficient results and technology can have both positive and negative effects, though the positives may outweigh the negatives. Political changes and environmental problems may result to some difficulties including increased cost, etc but I think that is where skills and initiatives as a project manager come in.

As a pharmacist, political change and the current economic decline has really affected my place of work. Patients are often unable to pay for medications and treat themselves and funding for some projects have been either reduced or completely cut off.

Thinking about Complexity.
As the head of one of many security units in a State Government House, sometime ago, I was asked to provide a general overview of the then poor state of security communication network and make recommendations on how to resolve the issues.
At first, the task was greeted with great enthusiasm believing that finally, a solution was in sight to improve the situation.
I worked with my team andbwe worked tirelessly to gather data and facts from various users, offices and stakeholders. Finally report showing the current poor state of the network was presented alongside recommendation to remedy the situation.
I was Thinking the approval for implementation would come speedily so that qualified vendor would commence implementation.
However to my amazement, execution for the supply of needed specified equipment was subtly taken over by political associates who ended up supplying a different set of equipment that did not fit into the existing communication network.
The error in supply led to years of delay in fixing the problem in addition to waste of government fund. Unnecessary interference by higher forces at workplace could pose a major challenge.
This experience is one of many challenges project manager may face. Operating within a political or other social environments having peoplebfilledbwith greed may present certain complexity to a project, nonetheless, with necessary skills, project managers can still work around those challenges and emerge with success.

Different organisation are face with different complexity likewise Project Manager’s, For instance my company the management invested heavily on technology which is trending and it driven force in today’s business environment, However, the equipment’s has been made available with human adaptability becomes difficult, to make everyone key into this objective management have to play a significance of training and retraining, The complexity of other stakeholders did not achieved the desire results initially, Overtime the communication play a unique role with adequate engagement which have put all parties on the same page, Complexity has a way of mitigating Project Manager to achieve effectively
In my current establishment which is a Construction firm, global issues such as new technology, competition and social and political change have a very negative impact on my organisation…the soaring price of raw materials hamper a lot of our projects during this time. Budgets provided based on project initial cost estimates could not see such projects to completion. This led to extended time schedule for multiple projects as our clients struggled to pay for those projects and see to their completion. This strongly emphasized the for the need for an organization to critical consider the various complexities introduced by global changes when determining the projects they want to work on.
