Good and early communication could’ve come in handy, modifying the entire outcome .
they wouldn’t have acted differently because they could tackle the issues with good communication, and being flexible in their decisions. as a project manager you have to be open, communicative, flexible and most importantly, empathetic, i believe that was what helped them in the situations they found themselves and where able to resolve such issues.
I think communication is a critical tool. Communicating clearly with stakeholders and project team members. Also transparency and understanding has shown to be way out in difficult situations.

If I were in their position, I would make similar decisions, as ensuring the right decisions are made at each stage of the project is part of the project manager’s role. Terminating a project early, when necessary, is better than letting it proceed and cause more harm later. The transparency and understanding shown in managing stakeholder relationships during a crisis were crucial in maintaining trust and preventing further escalation. This thoughtful, proactive approach is something I would aim to emulate in my own work.
Having a great knowledge of the project, knowing how to relate with all stakeholders using the best approach that works for them did a great job to maintain the right work ethic ensuring they have the controls and checks that helped them terminate the project at the early stage than at the later which will mar a lot of things.
If in their shoes, I will do same as taking the right decision at every phase is part of my role as the project manager.
communication appears to be one of their most effective tool, taking that decision to terminate a project can be really difficult but it’s better at the early stage of the project, I can relate how they have invested time, resources but it’s still better then when the project is all grown, Also the aspect of transparency and understanding especially when crisis steam up between stakeholders. The 3Project expertise decisions where timely and it help them cub/ manage the current situation and keep further good relationships.

They would not have taken any decision in another context because it’s their belief and willingness to see that solutions are provided at all cost even if they have to sacrifice
One of the most effective tool they used was communication, it is amazing the way they had the right frame and approach of communication to end ongoing project despite the emotions that are already built around the project due to invested time, energy and resources. The magic of right communication also worked in managing critical situations arising from projects.
I loved there decision to be transparent and understanding when crisis steamed among stakeholders. This decision helped them manage escalations and the lingering of crisis.
Their approach is very innovative.
Certainly, I will do same if I were in their positions.
