The project setting is complex because it exists for a reason and drives more than one resource, brought together to form unity in diversity.

I currently work for a non profit, set out to solve the problem of education in Africa. Quite a number of the teachers and school leaders that I train are not tech savvy and majority of them struggle to integrate our technology initiatives into their classrooms.
The factors of technology and social and political changes greatly affect the work that I do. I manage nonprofit projects, and in the area of fundraising, online payment platforms have made donations pretty easy, but we still have to keep looking for effective ways to connect with our donors, beneficiaries, and social media community.
Socio-political changes also affect our operations, as there are areas we are unable to reach due to some sort of ongoing crisis. The economic climate not being friendly also affects the level of support we are getting from the public.
In every project, there are several factors directly or indirectly that may influence the pace of delivery.
For instance, technology so far has greatly affected the progress of projects as compared to the level of delivery when it was only dependent on manpower alone.
Also, for civil engineering projects, there are a lot of factors like human(workforce), climatic(weather conditions), social(community influence), political, and so on…All of these factors and more must be checked and balanced for a smooth run in this kind of projects.
The emergence of technology has undoubtedly increased the output of our everyday work.
Narrowing it down to project management, we couldn’t have gotten a job done in wink without the advent of those sophisticated equipment.
Getting the hands of the stakeholders on deck, especially those fully involved in the project is very pertinent and given them the avenue to be familiar with the technological trends that will improve the the overall output is very necessary.
